The news is truly getting too awful to read. The only good thing about horrible headlines is the fact that Jesus told us when we see these things coming to pass, it’s time to look up. Our redemption is drawing nigh.

Luke 21:10     Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

Not only are nations rising against nations, here in the U.S. the States are rising up individually.

Luke 21:11     And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Swarms of earthquakes are ocurring in Yellowstone, in California, and around the world. The Emergency Alert Map is often lit up like a Christmas Tree.  The drought in China leaves 4 million without water while caterpillars are invading Liberia. Record heat waves and fires are wrecking havoc in Australia while parts of  America are on ice.

Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Have you seen or read the Left Behind Series? Remember Carpathia’s global news station where everyone in the world could see the 2 witnesses?  There’s talk of a global television channel being setup internationally. This will make it easy for the anti-christ to be seen and heard all around the world – simultaneously.

Rev 13:17       And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Many countries now offer microchips for pets and for people with health concerns. While Wisconsin and four other states have passed laws prohibiting forcing people to be ‘chipped’,  Australia hasn’t addressed the issue yet. Maybe they should – it’s looming on their horizon.

How do you track the whole world? How about a computer with the power of 2 million laptops? Gadgets abound for tracking people. Google offers a free tracking method that works with cell phones.

Things are getting so bad in America that the government is no longer hiding the fact that prison camps have been set up to house Americans who don’t behave as they’re told to. (Those who proclaim Christ or refuse to take the mark???)

The current stimulus plan censors religious speech on campus.  One of BO’s justice nominees is a defender of porn, abortion, and homosexuality.  There’s a move to bring back the unfair ‘fairness doctrine’ which would essentially put an end to conservative radio.

If the U.N. Treaty re: children is put in place, parents will no longer be parents. The United Nations will control everything to do with children.

All in all, it appears that the world is speeding toward the day when an un-believer takes the reigns and rules over a world where anything except Christianity goes and everyone is marked and tracked by the beast.
