To the precious ones who share the inheritance of the saints in light (Col 1: 12)

I have been pondering much on what the Lord would have me share with you at the outset of this new year and in the midst of the many things that have come to mind, one dream I had in November last year keeps coming to the forefront.

Then on January 8th, the Lord set me a 3 week Daniel fast, which ends at the end of the month. As I walk through the first week of this set-apart time,I realize just why He keeps bringing that dream to mind.

With events so rapidly unfolding in the world around us, it is easy for us to become distracted from our primary purpose in life. But let me not get ahead of myself. Here is the dream as it unfolded:

My mother called together a group of ladies in order to have a time of prayer and fellowship. She told them that I would also be there as I could see in the spirit and this would be beneficial for the whole group. As soon as we gathered, I began having an open vision.

I saw a heart shape which was bleeding or it could even have been disintegrating; it was difficult to tell which as the whole scene was monochromatic. The second scene I saw was a pink evening sky which was quickly obscured by grey storm clouds.

I wanted to share this with the ladies as I had understanding of the second scene but before I could do so,my mother stood right in front of me, took me by the shoulders and bent forward and whispered in my ear.

These were her words – ” the Lord says, ‘you don’t come into my presence any more’.”

I was immediately so convicted that I could not share a word with the ladies even though I knew what I had discerned in the spirit was accurate.

Then I woke up with the same disturbed feeling and began to pray for understanding.

The message of the dream is simple yet profound. The heart that I saw in the first scene is the heart of the Bridegroom which bleeds because His people are so caught up in watching the signs of the times that they are neglecting just being with Him, adoring Him and drawing strength from His presence.

Because the first message was in black and white it represents a seemingly old message,a message from a bygone time, something one has heard before that doesn’t really make too much of an impact so it is glossed over; whereas the second scene was in technicolor and immediately seemed relevant to the times we are living in and contained a message for the hour.

The pink sky speaks of the evening of a day and an approaching night and even as one discerned the time, the storm clouds quickly obscured the sky until one could no longer tell whether it was evening or morning because of the grey clouds.

In the dream I represent those saints with a desire for understanding of the times in order to know what to do; those who have the spiritual giftings which others draw on in the times we are living in. My mother represents the Holy Spirit, the One who nurtures and mothers the saints, feeding and guiding them from the riches of Christ.

The message my mother/the Holy Spirit gave me is the message of the first scene I saw, the message of the black and white image. She had to stand directly in front of me in order to get my attention and show me that the first image was 1) a message for me first and also 2) that it was the most important part of the whole message I was seeing for the group, even though it was not in exciting colors and seemed like something the church has heard before..

I had just glossed over the first scene I saw ( it didn’t capture my attention) and was about to share the second scene and its meaning. However the first image was an urgent message because of what was seen in the second scene!

The sons of Issacher had understanding of the times in order to know what the people ought to do. We tend to think the understanding of the times comes first in order to discern what to do but by giving me these two images in the order He did, the Holy Spirit is showing that He first gives the instruction what to do and then expands by giving understanding of the times.

In other words, we must seek His presence more than ever before BECAUSE it is almost night and the storm clouds will soon obscure our ability to know exactly what time it is. We have been neglecting the Bridegroom and it breaks His heart. He knows just how desperately we will need what can only be gained in His presence in the days to come.

As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, because things are unfolding so rapidly on the world stage, those who are spiritually alert and watching what is happening in the spiritual realm can easily have all their attention focused upon what is happening next instead of keeping one’s focus and attention on seeking His presence.

There is a further warning in this dream. Put first things first. Don’t skip over the fleeting introductory part of what God is saying,thinking the meat of the message is following. God knows exactly what time it is on His clock and He knows the urgency of the hour.

The only way His saints are changed from glory to glory is by beholding Him. The time for the last touches of preparation are rapidly running out. We must repent of our neglect and run to His presence and drink of the water of Life as a matter of urgency.

When we gather together to seek Him, we must not gloss over the seemingly unexciting ‘monochromatic’ message; for within the simplicity of the fleeting scene is a message that the Holy Spirit wants to arrest the Bride with.

And for those who are prophetically gifted, remember the message you are given is for you first. When it has become flesh in you, then share it. Until then allow the conviction of the Spirit to have a full deep work in you.

It matters not that others are seeking to drink of your gift. It is your life that must speak rather than your mouth. Do not make the mistake of desiring to be so relevant to the times that you miss out the most important part of the message.

Let Him make you a living message that others can read just by observing your lifestyle.

Our first love must always be Him, not the works of His hand, not the unfolding of prophesy, not the understanding of the times. He wants to be first. Let us fix our eyes on Him and not on the general spiritual realm where much activity is taking place and we can easily be distracted. He is our first love and our chief love.

So now it will make sense to you that the Lord has called me apart until the end of the month. My heart is so full of things to share as each day of this week, He has opened up scripture to me but I must allow Him to write the last preparation lines on my heart so clearly that my life gives a clear message in the days ahead.

He is putting the finishing touches to many living letters at this time. Let us bask in the light of His presence and allow Him to complete the work He began in us.

“Three times one night the Lord gave me the same exact “dream”, for lack of a better word.

It was “REAL”! And I mean REAL!

I woke up sobbing. It took a while to regain my composure. I’d just seen the Lord!!!

Jesus didn’t look like any of the typical paintings of Him, This dream was the Jesus to come! A King of Kings, and Lord of Lords! Powerful! Totally in control of everything! All seeing and all knowing! Alpha and Omega! The Christ of the Revelation!

He gave me a glimpse of the ‘Rapture’, or ‘taking away’, of His Church, of the ‘born-again’, Christian believers, the souls of the ‘saved’, those who believe Jesus is the Messiah, and have accepted Him as their Savior.

I can only describe this in ‘human’ terms, as I don’t have any other way to do it.

I feel inadequate for the task. Perhaps the Lord let me see this vision because of the ‘pictures’ He lets me see in my head for my artwork, for His glory.

Maybe He thought I could describe what He showed me in the vision since I am an artist and remember details.

At first I heard a loud noise, maybe the ‘trump of God’! Then I was lifted up to a ‘cloud’ that covered at least half of the earth. The cloud was much like a normal cloud in looks….from the earth, anyhow!

But on the ‘top’ side, where I was, it was a crystalline, gossamer-type of sparkly ‘stuff’, with amazing colors I’ve never seen before on earth! It was translucent, but turned transparent later!

The Lord let me, ‘see myself as I experienced things’, like you’d see yourself in an actual dream. At other times He let me see things in a ‘normal’ way.

It was much like the Apostle John saw in the Book of Revelation. I now know how John felt trying to describe things so beyond his frame of reference!

I appeared in age much the same as I do now. Could this mean that the Rapture is close to happening? I believe it to be true.

I was standing on the topside of the cloud when suddenly the Lord Jesus appeared just slightly to the back of my right side.

His robes were the brightest white, like the sun shining off of a metallic surface and a tremendous glare that blinds you! They ‘glowed’, they ‘shone’!

His facial features could not be made out because His face shone like the sun in brightness! (As it says in the Book of Revelation: ‘…there is no need for the sun and moon for light, because Jesus will be the light.’ This describes Him perfectly!)

The brightness didn’t hurt my eyes to look upon Him! However, as soon as I did my legs were, ‘knocked out from under me’, and I fell on my knees then my face all the way down!

All I could say, as I lay there sobbing was, ‘My Lord and my God!’ I felt the overwhelming, awesomeness of Him, like a physical force!

His total perfection penetrated my soul, and I felt my own unworthiness to be in His presence. I could ‘feel’ His love for me, and He set me on my feet.

He didn’t have to speak audibly. His thoughts and wishes were immediately, ‘put into my head’! I could speak and ask Him things, or just think it, and He would answer, He knew my thoughts!

I remember I asked stupid things. For instance, when I knelt down on my hands and knees on the cloud, I asked Him, ‘why didn’t I fall through? What was holding me up?’

Jesus let me know that everything was perfectly safe, that He was in control, and wouldn’t let anything hurt me.

Then I relaxed and started to observe.

The cloud rose high above the earth, and I could look down at the beautiful blue and green ball of the earth. It looked much like the photos and videos sent back by the astronauts in space.

But, as I looked down, suddenly, tiny ‘points of light’, like fireflies in the night, started to rise up! They swirled from all over the earth, going around, and around as they rose.

Jesus let me know that they were actually moving too fast for my eyes to follow, so He had ‘slowed them down’, so I could see what was really happening!

The lights rose up to the cloud with us, filling the heavens with light! It was very beautiful! I saw them as lights, but Jesus let me know they were actually the ‘souls’ of all the ‘Saints’, His born-again believers, the ‘Raptured Church’!

I watched the lights swirl up from the earth, from each place the lights left, the earth darkened! It was very, very scary as it got darker and darker!

The Lord caused me to know that even if someone only believed a tiny bit in Him, ‘a mustard-seed’s worth of faith’…He would take them and they would be saved! No one was forgotten that believed in Him!

The earth proceeded to darken until the light totally went out! That was the most frightening thing I have ever seen, or felt! Even the Holy Spirit had left!

All that was remaining was darkness. Real darkness! The once beautiful earth was now a horrible, dark, ‘thing’! Like a piece of coal! The dark earth actually looked like it had ‘sunken’ into the space it occupied, as well as the atmosphere around it!

It ‘felt’ like the darkness was ‘evil’! It was a physical, tangible thing! Too horrible to behold! Whoever was left down on the earth was in that darkness! Probably some people we know or love! They were now controlled by evil and darkness, with no Holy Spirit to hold it back!

The cloud with the Raptured Church of God rose up to Heaven, and disappeared from the earth.

Then the Lord let me wake up after He had repeated the vision three times in a row! I believe He was trying to make a point, don’t you?

Time is very, very short! Many people will be lost in the darkness unless they truly accept Jesus as their Savior! We must tell everyone we can about Jesus!

Please take this seriously! Pass it on to whomever you want. I pray it helps. Even so, many will be lost forever in the darkness when they refuse to believe in Jesus as their Savior. I love you all in Christ. May God bless you.
