United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has again publicly admitted that the agenda behind the Copenhagen summit and the climate change fraud is the imposition of a global government and the end of national sovereignty.

Speaking about the agenda to impose targets on CO2 emissions, as well as a global tax on financial transactions and a direct tax on GDP, Ban Ki-moon told the Los Angeles Times in an interview, “We will establish a global governance structure to monitor and manage the implementation of this.”

“We need to have a very strong, robust, binding political deal that will have an immediate operational effect. This is not going to be a political declaration, just for the sake of declaration. It is going to be a binding political deal, which will lead to a legally binding treaty next year,” he told the Times’ Bruce Wallace, adding that a formal treaty would be signed by mid-2010.

Ki-moon also hinted that the arrival of President Barack Obama could grasp victory from the jaws of defeat for the globalists, who up until now have looked like failing in their efforts to secure a multilateral agreement at Copenhagen that includes China, India and the United States.

Could Obama roll in as the “savior” of Copenhagen in an eleventh hour turnaround?

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:…” Daniel 9:27.

Introduction

This is a familiar passage to all serious students of Bible prophecy. I, like most others, have always thought and taught that the “covenant” in this prophecy would be some sort of peace treaty, which would bring to an end a war or conflict between Israel and their enemies and guarantee “peace” to Israel for seven years.

This MAY BE the exact truth about this “covenant,” but in the past few days I have been given reason to seriously restudy this passage and realize that my past view MAY NOT be correct at all. I believe what is taught in this verse is important enough that I am using this study to call it to the attention of God’s people.

Then however this prophecy is fulfilled, God’s people and others will have been warned. I take my responsibility as a “watchman” seriously, Ezekiel 33:1-6.

The Covenant

What exactly is “the covenant”? I don’t know! I wish I did! The Hebrew word that is translated as “covenant” in this verse is the word, “berith.” This is the customary word used for a covenant or agreement or treaty or league throughout the Old Testament. All that can be derived from the definition for this word is that the “covenant” will be some sort of agreement made between “many” for a period of seven years.

But now let’s look at the word…..

Confirm

The Hebrew word that is translated as “confirm” in this passage is the word, “gabar.” This Hebrew word literally means, “to prevail; act insolently; to be strong; to overwhelm; to strengthen; to bind; to enslave; to bring into bondage; to show oneself victor.”

See Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, page 156, Strong’s No. 1396. While this is the literal meaning of this Hebrew word, it IS NOT the meaning commonly put forth by most prophecy buffs. Usually it is just casually stated by prophecy students that the “covenant” will be “strengthened.” Period!

But the complete literal meaning of the word makes it clear that the “covenant” being “strengthened” involves a greater plan for “binding, bringing into bondage, and enslaving” some person, people, or peoples. Who would this be?

The immediate context of the verse suggests that it will be Israel and the Jewish people. But are they the only people who are the object of this plan? Let’s just consider for a moment…..

The New World Order Agenda

Folks, it is well known by serious Bible students that the Illuminati, or as this group is presently referred to today, the New World Order, has had a plan in place for some 400 years to dominate and enslave the whole world in order to set up and firmly establish their own anti-God and anti-Christ kingdom on the earth.

Today they are working their plan feverishly using the governmental bodies of the world. They are now so close to achieving their wicked goal, that from time to time some Illuminists even publicly boast, “We can’t be stopped now. We have won!” Well, not quite! But they are close! How close? Let’s now take a look at…..

The Copenhagen Conference

This conference is going on right now while I am writing. It convened on the 7th day of this month, and is presently in progress in Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference is expected to continue through December 19th. The President of the United States is scheduled to address this world conference on December 18th.

It is expected that all 192 nations of the world will at one time or another be represented in this conference. The reason claimed for convening this world conference of nations is to discuss World Climate Control, and get as many nations as possible to sign a treaty agreeing to reduce so-called “green house emissions” by whatever amount the “world body” formed at this meeting calls for in their “treaty.”

Folks, the treaty [or covenant] has already been drawn up in advance of this conference by the “environmentalists” and “global warming” advocates. This conference is simply to get the input of the various nations represented and to make such changes in the treaty as are felt needed by majority vote of the representatives attending this world conference.

It is needless to say that most of these representatives are staunch globalists, environmentalists, and those advocating a curb on “global warming.” In other words, “the deck is stacked” before the votes are even taken.

Those who have access to this treaty report that every nation that “signs on” will become subject to “international law” as determined by the United Nations and the World Court. In other words, every nation who “signs on” is surrendering their national sovereignty to this world body.

Further, every nation who “signs on” will be subject to heavy fines [millions or billions of dollars] for non-compliance to the terms of the treaty as agreed upon by the world body, and even subject to international “take over” of their governments by officials appointed by the World Court who will force the nation to comply with the terms of the treaty. Read Daniel 7:23-24 again!

My Questions…??

Is it possible that the “covenant” prophesied in Daniel 9:27, instead of being some kind of “peace treaty” as I and many others have considered it to be in the past, could be the very World Climate Control Treaty that is being discussed and debated and voted on in Copenhagen, Denmark even as I write?

Is this possible? I personally think that it is “possible.” It is absolutely certain that this treaty under discussion and debate in Copenhagen at this very moment would be “a means” of imposing a one world government on all the nations of the whole world, under the guise of “saving the world.” Sic! Sic! Sic! Are you listening?

“Strengthening” the Covenant

And what would “strengthen” this treaty” more than to have the President of the United States of America throw the entire wealth and power of this great nation behind this “covenant” agreed upon for “one week” [seven years] by the world body meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark even as I am writing this study? Well…??

Conclusion

Am I saying that this World Climate Control Treaty is absolutely the “covenant” of Daniel 9:27? I MOST CERTAINLY AM NOT! All I am asking of my readers is to consider this “possibility,” pray about it asking for enlightenment from the Lord for both yourself and me.

I do want to point out that if this treaty being discussed and debated in Copenhagen right now SHOULD BE the “covenant” of Daniel 9:27, then it ought to be obvious to God’s people that the resurrection and rapture of all true believers is right at the door.

THE COVENANT WITH MANY IS A 10½ YEAR TIME PERIOD

The timing of Daniel 9:27 has been mistakenly misunderstood as being SEVEN YEARS OF TRIBULATION, but under close scrutiny we see the text clearly shows it covers TWO SEPARATE WEEKS and fulfills the time, times and half a time prophecies!

The purveyors of this confusion are the NASB and the NIV, with the NASB putting a coma (,) after “the many for one week, but in the middle of the week”. The NIV adds to the confusion by correctly putting a period but THEY WORD THE TEXT INCORRECTLY following the period. They transcribe, “He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven’. In the middle of the ‘seven’…”

The KJV didn’t really help the matter, they put a colon (:) after one week: and in the midst of the week…” this scribal error didn’t do anything for proper interpretation either!

Although the KJV and NIV came close the 1985 JPS TANAKH ‘THE HOLY SCRIPTURES’ interpreted it correctly.

Here’s the JPS Daniel 9:27 translation; “DURING ONE WEEK he will make a firm covenant with many. FOR HALF A WEEK he will put a stop to the sacrifice and the meal offering. At the corner will be an appalling abomination until the decreed destruction will be poured down upon the appalling thing”

This is the only way to interpret this text to fulfill Daniel and the book of Revelation prophecies.

The prophecy guru’s of the 70’s and 80’s not only had a problem of overlooking the colon or period, their interpretations KEYED OFF the AND the BUT in the NASB and KJV making the midst or middle of the week as HALF OF the one week then dealing with it as just ONE WEEK OF TRIBULATION.

This misinterpretation has put the ‘flock’ in jeopardy of having their oil lamps but ½ full or empty BECAUSE that overflowing scourge or ‘tempest of the Lord’ i believe scripture plainly shows is due between February 9, 2009 and April 9, 2009!

Here’s ONE OF THE MISINTERPRETED TEXTS from the KJV; Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: AND IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the total destruction, and that is determined shall be poured upon the desolate”.

BREAKING THE LOT OF GOD’S INHERITANCE

Reread the JPS version again, it simplifies the text and easily shows that it covers TWO SEPARATE WEEKS.

In reality Daniel 9:27 is covering a period of 10½ years that “the many”, the Arab league and the ‘quartet’ have been conspiring TO BREAK the “everlasting inheritance covenant” of I Chronicles 16:17-18 and DIVIDE GOD’S LAND with a “covenant of death and hell”, Isaiah 28:15.

We know that God will disannul it and send an “overflowing scourge’, Isaiah 28:18, on the United States and its President, Daniel 11:20, even telling us twice in Jeremiah 23:19-20 and 30:23-24 that we will “UNDERSTAND IT” in the last days.

This the “tempest of the Lord” is coming, remember Paul echoed this in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-5 telling us that when they are talking “peace and safety; the sudden destruction of the ‘day of the Lord’ will come upon them as a “thief in the night” and they shall not escape.

As children of the light and having our ‘oil lamps” full we can see by properly interpreting Daniel 9:27 it fulfills the time, times and half a time prophecies!

A TIME, TIMES AND HALF A TIME

Let’s take a look;

A TIME= March 28, 2002 until April 9, 2009 is the ‘first week’

The “covenant with many” is the Saudi Plan that was approved by the Arab League on Passover March 28, 2002, this was THE FIRST DAY of the “during one week” that WILL END ON Passover April 9, 2009.

TIMES= October 4, 2005 until September 17, 2012 is ‘another time’ the second week

The “For half a week” BEGAN half way between 2540 days of the ‘second week’ that began on Rosh Hashanah October 4, 2005 and ends on Rosh Hashanah, September 17, 2012.

HALF A TIME= March 27/28, 2009 until September 17, 2012

The ‘half a week of 2540 days’ or the FIRST DAY of 1270 days BEGINS ON March 27, 2009, that is within a day of being seven Gregorian years from the “Saudi Plans” approval by the Arab league on Passover March 28, 2002! We must remember that in Israel at 6:00 pm March 27th the next day, March 28th, begins!

A ‘SECOND WITNESS’

Daniel 12:11 and its 1290 day prophecy ‘second witness’ this March 27/28 timeframe, If we COUNT BACK 1290 days from Shemini Atzeret, the ‘eighth’ day ‘Feast of Tabernacles’, October 8, 2012, we will count back to March 28, 2009. Shemini Atzeret is the day the Torah Scroll is rerolled in the temple and the Genesis 1 Torah portion is read.

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be 1290 days.

The “half a week” of Daniel 9:27 and Daniel 12:11 speak of the same event and begin ON THE SAME DAY, March 27/28, 2009.

TIME, TIMES AND HALF A TIME SCRIPTURAL REFERENCES

1.) Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time.

When Daniel 11:20 is fulfilled a “few days after” Obama is inaugurated, the antichrist will be revealed and start persecuting the remnant, Daniel 11:21 a day that I believe could fall anytime between February 9 and Passover April 9, 2009, then the antichrist will DIVIDE ISRAEL and parcel it out for gain, Daniel 11:39.

2.) Daniel 12:7 I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these will be completed.

This encompasses the whole timeframe of the Saudi Plan as a ‘covenant of death’ to “shatter the power of God’s people”, that began on March 28, 2002 and ends when the antichrist is thrown into the ‘lake of fire’ on September 17, 2012.

3.) Revelation 12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

This will be closer to Passover, April 9, 2009, when the “two witnesses” and Satan and his angels come to earth.

But the majority of prophecy gurus of today are leading us astray, saying we will have peace and in the stubbornness of their own hearts are saying ‘no evil will come upon us’! Jeremiah 23:17

For who has stood in the counsel of the LORD, and has seen and heard His word? Who has listened to His word and obeyed it? Jeremiah 23:18

“Behold, the storm of the LORD has gone forth has gone forth in wrath, even A WHIRLING TEMPEST: It will swirl down on the head of the wicked. The prophecy gurus mentioned above DID NOT stand in the LORD’S counsel or they would be announcing these words, this last day tempest, to their people and turning them back from their evil ways and deeds. In Jeremiah 23:28b..”but let him who has My word speak My word in truth”.

WHAT IS THIS “EVIL THAT IS COMING UPON US”

During the weekend of January 18-19, 2009, in Egypt, European and Arab leaders racing to consolidate a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas pressed Sunday at a summit in an Egyptian resort, agreeing that Israel needed to quickly pull its forces out of Gaza, with French President Nicolas Sarkozy saying, “There is NO OTHER SOLUTION TO ACHIEVE PEACE,”

King Abdullah of Jordan said an Arab peace offer dating back to 2002 must stay alive. “IF WE DON’T DO THIS IN THIS YEAR, we will be back meeting again in the very near future”

TEN AND A HALF YEARS

The timing in Daniel 9:27 has been misinterpreted and misunderstood by many but the 1985 JPS TANAKH ‘THE HOLY SCRIPTURES’ simplifies the understanding and shows us how it covers two separate weeks!

Here’s the Daniel 9:27 translation; “During one week he will make a firm covenant with many: For half a week he will put a stop to the sacrifice and the oblation, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the total destruction, and that is determined shall be poured upon the desolate”.

The Saudi Plan was approved by the Arab League on Passover March 28, 2002, this was the first day of the “during one week” that will end on Passover April 9, 2009.

The “For half a week” that as a full week BEGAN half way between the 2540 days that fall between Rosh Hashanah October 4, 2005 and September 17, 2012 is 1270 days that falls on March 27, 2009, that is within a day of being seven Gregorian years from the “Saudi Plans” approval by the Arab league on Passover March 28, 2002!

We must remember that in Israel at 6:00 pm March 27th the next day, the 28th, begins! Absolutely amazing.

HE MAGNIFIED HIMSELF TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL

So Daniel 9:27 could very well come into play around March 27th, with the antichrist going into the Kotel area eliminating all the daily morning, afternoon and evening prayers then doing the ultimate against Israel, he will cast “truth to the ground” and tear down the western wall and set up the “abomination” and parceling out the land for gain.

If we count back 1290 days from Shemini Atzeret, the ‘eighth’ day after the Feast of Tabernacles, October 8, 2012 it brings us AGAIN to that March 28, 2009 timeframe.

This will be 12 days into the Messianic age, Ezekiel 37:24-28 and Isaiah 4:5-6

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be 1290 days.

The “half a week” of Daniel 9:27 and Daniel 12:11 speak of the same event!

Note the word ‘league’ in this text, this in reference to the Arab league and its approval of the Saudi Plan on March 28, 2002! In Daniel 11:23 it says, “And after the league [alliance] made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.”

He has had his “quartet” working deceitfully with the Palestinians, “a small people” now for almost ‘seven’ years.
