I want to talk to you about your daily devotionals. I want you to know that time spent with Me is of the utmost importance. Don’t fail to spend time with Me on a daily basis. Don’t fail to spend time in My word, meditating on its richness.

Set aside this time at all cost. Don’t let the world pull you away from Me, beloved. Don’t let the world entice you into looking in another direction, devoting your time to anything other than this much needed observance.

Why would I stress the importance of this assignation with your Almighty God? Why would I take this time to tell you of its importance to you? This is a time when I give you much needed strength, telling you truths, confirming My truth, and giving you the wherewithal to face the new day.

This is the time when My hand is placed on your head in a blessing for you to go forth in My name and reveal Me to others. This is a time when you gain that much needed strength to face any occurrence that could otherwise send you reeling. This is an important time, this time when you come to Me, spending time with Me, delving into My word to hear what I have to say to you at that moment, words that not only guide and direct, but confirm My undying love for you.

So, beloved, do not fail to seek Me in the morning hours, those hours before you start your day. Come to Me. Speak to Me. I will speak to you. I will tell you of the intent of My heart. I will tell you words that you may pull on during your day, enabling you to walk in My power.

Do not fail yourself. I tell you truly that you are failing yourself when you turn away from Me, looking to the world for satisfaction of heart. Satisfaction of heart is just not found in the world, beloved. It is found in knowing Me.

This is a time when you will get to know Me, My goodness, better. Yes, it is a time when you may relax in My presence, having a tête-à-tête of sorts with the Almighty God. It is a privilege. Don’t look on it as a drudge, beloved. It is a privilege, a glorious privilege.

It is a time when the Almighty God will shine forth in splendor in your life, speaking truth to you, admonishing the evil one, and enabling you to rise up stronger and stronger with each passing day. I take delight in this time. I want you to. Don’t fail Me. Don’t fail yourself. This is an important assignation, and it would behoove you to observe it. Observe it with passion, beloved. Yes! I want you to observe it with passion!!!
