Back from my road trip and we are down to 2 days until the Feast of Trumpets. Remember that it is probable that nothing out of the ordinary will happen. Probability and likelihood both tell us that this years Feast of Trumpets days will be just like all the rest. We as believers though, should be able to rise above probability and likelihood and expect the Lord’s return each and every day.

Dear Doves,
There are references in The Scriptures to the Midnight Hour. Death, in the plague for the first-born, visited Egypt as promised at the midnight hour of Nisan 14, the night of Passover.

Those with faith, with the hyssop applied blood of the lambs on the doorposts and the lintels of their homes, were spared the plague and death. Nisan 14 had begun, Passover night deepened into greater darkness, and death passed over them. The trusting experienced Redemption at the Midnight Hour.
For Messiah/Christ, the final Nisan 14 of His life on earth, was all important. The thought life of our Master is studied in “The Hidden Life of Christ series” by Johnny Tatum at http://radicalgrace.com/HiddenLifeSeries.htm to learn fascinating things.

Of special interest are the articles about Gethsemane and the last 15 hours of Christ’s life. The Lamb of Lambs sought and found great comfort and meaning in the Psalms at the ending of His earthly life.

A favorite place, Gethsemane was where our Redeemer accepted assignment. The Sinless One began to experience the horrible crushing weight of the sins of others, and began to die. Death did not pass over Him at the midnight hour.

He came close to death, sweat blood, and an angel helped Him to continue. That second midnight hour was of greatest consequence for Him and billions of others. Our Deliverer began to be the dregs, the judgment outpoured, the full wrath of Adonai for sins.

But even in the deepening literal and spiritual darkness at the midnight hour, Freedom, Deliverance, Salvation and Victory were close to conclusion.

Only hours later, He said “It is accomplished.” We are reminded of the profound truth in the Torah, mentioned many times. “The life is in the blood.”

For the third reference in The Scriptures we look to the Third Midnight Hour, the beginning of The Third Day. This is implied in Matthew 25 in a wedding parable. The groom and the groomsmen arrive later than expected at the Midnight Hour.

They are going to the wedding feast. But there has been the earlier event of the bridegroom and the bride off to the wedding canopy. The wedding comes before the wedding feast (the wedding supper) and a 7 day period ( a seven) in between them.

Matthew 25 implies the earlier event, to which the later events are an extension of the former, this would have been The Third Day earlier for the groom and bride off to the chuppah. There are 2 phases to the finalization of the ancient Jewish wedding.

The first involves the chuppah for the groom and bride, then their consummation, and their period of 7 in the wedding chamber.

Phase 2 is with the wedding feast(supper). Without this understanding of the ancient Jewish wedding model, Matthew 25 does not make sense. According to the ancient Jewish wedding model, when would the groom and groomsmen appear? Often it was between 11 and midnight.

In The Scriptures This Hour is ironic since it combines Death and Life, Defeat and Victory, Doubt and Faith, Suffering and Deliverance. Symbolically, the 4 cups of Passover meet in This Hour of Freedom, Deliverance, Salvation, and Redemption.

It is believed by some that The Master did not drink the Cup 4, of Redemption, with His friends at their final meal together. How did the wedding period begin according to the ancient Jewish wedding model used by Messiah/Christ?

The groom offered a cup of wine to the bride with the following words. “This is the cup in my blood.” He said this to His friends. They drank from the cup, the bride price(ransom) was paid in full (the life is in the blood) that same day by Messiah/Christ.

The marriage began, awaiting the return of the groom and groomsmen, the sound of the trumpet (shofar), off to the wedding canopy (the chuppah), drinking from the cup ( the cup 4 of Redemption), then the intimacy in the wedding/marriage chamber.

The wedding supper for relatives and friends to the groom and bride ( the 5 of the 10 virgins are symbolic of this joyous group) is later, after the delay of the 7. This Wedding Supper of THE LAMB will be after a 4th Midnight Hour and a 4th Day, implied in Matthew 25.

The number 4 is the Servant Lamp number of The Messiah. The eternal family will be together for the beginning of The Millennial Reign. As Isaiah states, some are hidden in the pavilion until the time of wrath is over.

Many Doves are eagerly awaiting The Last Day of Elul and Day 1 of Tishri, the Feast of Trumpets. Might there soon be a momentous third Midnight Hour for Israel? Will there be The Third Day, with The Blessed Hope and the Cup 4 of Redemption finally shared by the Groom of Grooms and His Bride with The Wedding of the Ages?

For Israel the olive harvest is beginning for olives and the olive oil fresh from the olive press. Gethsemane means olive press. It will soon be The Hour to fill our lamps, trim the wicks, and depart with the Beloved. Rejoice greatly though the Hour of Trial, The Midnight Hour, of the darkening long night is near! Behold! The Bridegroom Comes!

Will the rapture happen within the next 72 hours? Only God knows. But he did tell us in his word that we would know the time was at hand if we were watching the signs.

The signs have stacked up so deep in the past year that it would be scary if one did not personally know the Lord. In the past few months, those signs have started appearing at warp speed.

They include UFO talk, earthquakes, animal deaths, advancing microchip technology, famine, drought, economic collapse, increasing evil accepted by the world, and the current topsy-turvy condition of our world. Good has become bad and evil has become the new good.

Organizations claiming to be christian churches are preaching anti-christian messages. Some preach there is no hell. Some preach that there is more than one way to salvation. They say Jesus is not the only way and the only answer.

They’re all wrong. There is a hell. There is only ONE way to avoid it. There is only ONE way to salvation and that is through the blood of Jesus. NOT through works. NOT through some new age feel-good guru. Not through Oprah or any other celebrity.

The media doom forecast for this week includes:

• comet Elenin alignment
• volatile stock market
• potential crash of U.S. economy
• potential default of U.S. on debt if budget not finalized
• increasing odds of war in the Middle East
• Iran’s push to divide Jerusalem

Rosh Hashanah begins Wednesday at sundown (Israel time), September 28. Many believers have considered this holiday as the time when the rapture will occur. Others believe the rapture will happen before Rosh Hashanah begins.

No matter what this week brings – be it catastrophe, rapture, or nothing unusual at all – God is in control.

A real relationship with God is all that can sustain us through daily life and beyond.

So what should believers be doing for the next 3 days? The same things they’re always doing. Praising the Lord, spreading the word and living their lives for the Lord. Talking to God about everything in their lives, reading their Bibles, and praying for those who have yet to know the Lord.

One day the rapture will happen. One day the tribulation will begin. The tribulation will be far beyond any science fiction movie. It will be life and death, with a martyr’s death awaiting those who choose to side with God.

The world is ready for the tribulation. The foundation has been laid for the antichrist to control food, water, and every aspect of life. The foundation is in place for constant surveillance of everyone, everywhere. The foundation is in place for the devil to do his best to become God and to make his feeble attempt to defeat God.

The world is taking sides and going to great lengths to prepare for the battle. Now is the time to decide who you will side with – God Almighty or evil. Now is the time to accept Christ as your Savior, to press in and read the Word and learn to know, really know, God.

Whatever happens in the hours, days, and weeks to come, don’t be caught without God.

The next three weeks in the Middle East - namely Israel, Cyprus and Turkey, may well provide far more excitement than any of us want. With the High Holy Days beginning on the 29^th this always seems to cause Security to go into high gear in Israel, but this year even more so than usual. The so-called “Palestinians” asking the Arab controlled General Assembly of the United Nations to recognize them as a State is certain to cause riots, if not war, to break out here in Israel. And if Obama betrays Israel and does not veto this in the Security Council the bloodbath could begin right away. Hamas and Hezbollah will cut loose with all they have to back-up the PA in their determination to destroy the State of Israel.

It has also become obvious that Turkey is playing a very dangerous game to gain the upper hand in the Arab and Muslim World. Now that Egypt is not the top dog Turkey is forcing Israel into a confrontation at sea, with the real reason being to take control of the.natural gas and possibly the oil which is presently controlled by Israel.

Cyprus is also in Turkish sights because they sold their rights in the Mediterranean Sea to Israel. This could be a motivation for Turkey to once again attack the Cypriots. They have practically no military to speak of, and could certainly not defend themselves against Turkish forces.  Turkey’s main enemy over the past decades has been the Greek Government, and the fact that Israel and Greece have been building a strong relationship, both militarily and economically, doesn’t sit well with Turkey.

But most likely the biggest motivator behind Turkey’s aggression towards Israel over the past year has been the Prime Minister who has made it clear that he wants to see Turkey become more Islamic. He has, time and time again, allow his mouth to drive him into a corner by making so many threats against Israel. It has now come to a point that he must either put up or shut up.

So when you think matters couldn’t look worse, they get worse and worse. The fact that Turkey and Iran have become very close over the past year or so only brings into view the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:5-6 – keeping in mind that Togarmah is today’s Turkey.

We have a good idea what this whole thing means to us here in Israel. However, those reading this in the US, Europe and elsewhere may be wondering about what is going to happen here? My guess,which is nothing more than that, is that all this will be a signal for the Islamic Jihadi’s to go into full operation. The world could very well go completely insane,  just as the global economy collapses.

If half of what we read on the Internet is true about Obama,  and the truth concerning this impostor becomes an issue in the US,  all hell will break loose because he will not go down without a final attempt to destroy the US.

I hope that all my warnings over the past two years have caused you to do your best to provide for the coming disasters. If there is any truth to what I have written above, and I believe there is or I wouldn’t be saying it, you have only a few weeks to prepare. This is not to say that the end will come in a few weeks, but it could certainly be the time for the Great Sorrows to begin.

There is however another side to this coin. So far there has always been something that comes up at the last minute to seemingly delay the inevitable – so we will just have to wait and see what develops overtime. It is my honest opinion that God is in total control and that the droughts and floods, horrible storms, earthquakes and crop failures around the world only testify to me that God is speaking loud and clearly for those who have an ear to hear.

The first thing you must do is to make sure you are right with God and that Yeshua (Jesus) is truly your Messiah (Lord) not just your Savior. Do good with what you now have - before it is worthless to you. Witness to your loved ones, yet the only salvation you can ever be sure of is your own.

Daily I awake asking God to please send the larger ship, so our mission to save Jewish lives can be more effective. I ask Him to open more doors and more hearts of those who can assist us in Europe, and around the world. To help us get the word out in the right places to the right people in the Jewish communities – and in time. I ask Him to touch the hearts of those reading this to supply the needed finances to accomplish all these things.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this ministry and your part in it.

The Lord has impressed upon this writer for many years now the need for us to be continually watching. So when you read the posts here you see “be watching” over and over and over again. If you have ever asked “how do we watch?” This post is for you.

Matt 26:36 Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.

38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.

41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

Keep watch “with me” the Lord said and what was the Lord doing? He way praying…

Colossians 4:2
… Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Continue and watch in prayer is what “watch in the same” means here ^^^

1 Peter 4:7
… But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. …

^^^ Here it is said directly “watch unto prayer”

Jesus was praying and he told the disciples “keep watch with me.” So how was Jesus “watching?” He was watching in and through prayer. Why prayer? The sight needed to do the watching Jesus commanded us to do is spiritual sight.

Spiritual things are seen with spiritual eyes and this is done through prayer as demonstrated by our Lord.
